Grantie Tables?

Does anyone have one?
Ronnie is making me a kitchen table and using grantie as the top to match the new counter he will be installing..


Is this a good idea?


Bob thinks so I am kinda tossed on the idea.

I can't comment on the looks (I really have no clue how it may turn out), but I do knwo that it may take some time to install and you need to be very very precise when measuring, b/c granite needs to be cut to the exact size at once...

Personally, its not my style unless you have a really amazing house that goes with something so grand.

Granite is awesome in the kitchen but I think a table made of granit with wooden legs wont really go together so nicely PLUS it will be so heavy to move you will have trouble cleaning under it.
