Greeting Card TYs?
Has anyone done this for their TYs? I just found out about them when I went to pick up my proofs
... instead of sticking the photo inside the card, the photo is the entire front of the card. It's not much more money, and I like the uniqueness of it. So...for those who've chosen these, were you happy with the results? Thanks!

A friend of mine did her tys like that. They were very pretty!!! She had a few photos on the front. She had a large full page in the center. She even had a message printed in each one.ets- I am going to do this too.

Re: Greeting Card TYs?
We did this! We ordered ours through our photographer at Cassarino StudiosWe received a lot of compliments on how unique and different it was. It was custom made with our photo on the front cover and custom text message along with our names and wedding date imprinted on the inside. Personally, IMHO, I think slip-in wallet photos are a waste because I never see guests carry a couple's photo in their wallets or anywhere except stuff it in their draw or bury it with their other mail. I love our thank you card as it stands out being unique and our photo is the whole front cover rather than a window slip-in using all the space of the front.
There are other sites that does these photo greeting cards such as:
Shutterfly
Snap Fish

Re: Greeting Card TYs?
I like the idea but I'm going to do the 'regular' way because I just know that DH's family will put theirs in little frames or something like that. They would rather that than a card. But the cards are such a great idea. You don't have to worry if you forgot to put one in a card or not - it's right there!

Yes but it's very 'matte' isn't it? Because it's on paper? Or can they do it on paper that makes the picture look more like a picture?
If that makes sense. Because I'm starting to re-think this ty thing!

actually, mine was more on photo paper than greeting card paper, so it did look like a picture.
It really looks great in a frame!

Re: Greeting Card TYs?
We're doing them also. We chose 5 pictures. One will be the entire background, with the other 4 pictures (made smaller) on each corner. Our names, date and message will be pre-printed.Good luck,
Donna
