thats really cool but not you'll look back and say you lived in china for a year and its only a year which isnt bad at all! you will be one of the few that would be able to say that!! i wish you guys the best of luck!!! before you know it your 3 yrs will be up!
Thanks! I'll start teaching at the American school when I get back, so hopefully things will get better. I've been sitting around doing nothing for four months, so I've been bored out of my mind. And it's much harder than I expected it to be. But it is a great experience and a really great, although trying, adventure. It's a good thing that my husband and I get along so well, because most of the time we're the only people we can talk to!
my brother was in china last summer for law school. He brought me back loads of fake bags but they were good fakes and north face coats. Stock up on that stuff take next year off sell it all on ebay and be glad you are back in the US where a mcdonalds hamburger is served on a bun and not a rice patty.

Re: Guess what time it is?! LATE NIGHT CREW CHATT!!
well if it makes you feel any better ...
steve came out to CA for an interview back when we were still living in NY -- i will finishing my master's, so i couldn't go with him.... so he went to the dessert place, picked up a delicious strawberry shortcake for me, and brought it allll the way back to NY -- all 3000 miles. he made me WAIT until the next day to eat it... because he got home late. so the anticipation was just BUILDING....
