Why yes, its me. Mom's back has been bothering her so she cannot host it, so Roger and I will be doing the honors. Yipee!!! I am very excited. I think we will officially break out our China, I am a bit scared tho' what if they break something I told Roger to get a head count of how many people are coming I just had to share

Kysha, yes it is, but they are not all going to come. We had 54 for Thanksgiving We will be getting help tho' His sister will make fry rice and lo mein, I will make stew chicken and macaroni and cheese, Roger will make the potato salad and punch, mom will make oxtails and rice and peas. THe dessert will come from Juniors and BJ's and Tada, dinner is served We will have salad and egg nog and rolls and candied yams, mi favorito

Gosh I don't blame you, I couldn't handle if I know that forsure!! Just found out I am hosting Christmas dinner here and I only have about 12 to 18 (not sure yet) and I am freakin out!! House isn't even fully done inside!

I don't even have 54 relatives!

Good for you, Shamma!

I am hosting Christmas Day for the first time too....I'm also hosting BOTH families for the first holiday altogether, so I have some (okay, ALOT) of nerves over this!

But, Jeff and I are also really excited to be 'breaking out' our fine china and sterling silver service for the occasion. I just wish we had a beautiful solid wood dining set, instead of the 7 ft. plastic folding tables that we currently have

We are doing the same thing Claud, we have to put the sterners on them so even if I had a nice oak table it would not be on it. You must take peekshures to share with us. How many people are you expecting?? Roger says it is up to me whether or not I want to use the fine China. I said no better time than the present. We can always find an excuse not to

Liz, if you come and get it that day I will save you a plate, not a problem I am off from work from the 24th until the 5th of January.

Shamma - I could not literally fit 54 people in my apartment - it's just not physically possible!

I need a house so I can FIT everyone (literally! )
