sorry i posted and fled---- not able to post much at jury duty!

The resort was fantastic........there were like 10-12 different restaurants......everything from steakhouses to mediterrean to mexican to american style. we LOVED the steaks---very juicy. the buffets for breakfast and lunch were always full of different foods for all palettes....lots of fresh fruit, meats, vegeterian options, etc. no matter what, there was just about food available for you at any time of day. snacks between meals or even late at nite.

plenty of bars to choose from-- and i was suprised that the drinks really weren't super watered down like many all inclusive resorts. we made friends with one bartender the first nite, and he had us sh*t bagged just about every single nite. they had nightly shows around the main lobby bars in each resort. (there are 3 resorts on one property--ours was the largest hotel). there was a nightclub that opened from 11 pm to 3 am each nite and a tiny casino open till 3 am also. so pretty much you were kept entertained on the resort the entire time.

DH and I paid approx. like $1900 for the entire trip thru our TA....direct flights from JFK to Punta Cana....at good times too. we arrived in PC around 3ish...customs was a breeze, about 45 min. to the Iberostar from the airport......and we checked in and were in our swimsuits by the pool around 530! Jr. suite for 2 people for 5 nites/6 days, and airport transfers included.
