My OB is also a GYN and he is terrific. 2 of my sister in laws and my MIL also go to him so he 'sees alot' of the women in our family (to say the least!!) He's in Garden City - Dr. Seth Plancher 516-222-1033 and he has quite a few late nights, I think appts are as late as 8pm. Also, when the baby dusts works it's magic, he's also an OB. He's very nice.
I also have a great GYN, however she is a nurse practicioner..You would only see the Dr. if something was wrong or you were preganant.. Her name is Melanie Jackson.. shes great. The office is in Garden city on Stewart ave, its called All Island OBGYN, there number is 227-3333..
I have had the same GYN for the past 5 years... His office is currently in Mineola, however in September he is moving his office to bigger digs in Garden City. He is Paul Byrne. He is both a GYN and OB. He is wonderful and he works with his wife. If your interested I will get you his number.

Another vote for Dr. Plancher in Garden City. He is great! I drive from Massapequa to see him so it's not too far. Great office. The other dr. there, Dr. Sherwin is also nice and Melanie the midwife mentioned above also works out of that office.
