so i'm trying NOT to rip my hair out apartment hunting---but its hard.
my friend is looking for a place also--and she found this ad on craigslist. you must read thru the entire thing......
$775 Female Roommate Wanted - Your own bedroom in 2 1/2 Bedroom apartment (East Village) (map)
Furnished bedroom available in spacious 2 1/2 bedroom apartment. Doorman, high floor, city and sunset views, sunny, etc. Washer, dryer and dishwasher in the apartment. The apartment has good heat, is quiet for sleeping, has good air-conditioning, high speed internet and a spare computer for the roommate's use. It's an elevator building and there is a health club in the building. The room is about 200 sq. ft., has a double bed, dresser, desk, walk in closet and a window with a nice view. I'm looking for a female roommate who will occasionally not wear clothes when I ask in exchange for free rent. No sex whatsoever required. Otherwise the rent is $775/month, everything included.

Btw--I TOTALLY emailed the guy just to see if he is for real.
He RESPONDED!!!!

I sent the guy some pics of someone totally random.
i told him i'm an exhibitionist -- and i don't mind being naked for free rent sometimes....so its a good exchange...and i asked him for pics of himself.
omg this guy NEEDS to send me pics so i can show you ladies!

I'm 44, no pics online, room is empty now. Let's meet at a Starbucks if you don't want to give out your number. I totally understand, lots of craiglist wackos out there. I'm a normal guy, day job, bored living alone in my big apt.
