hair color ?

ok, I am normally a brunette, I have worn my hair blonde for a long time, I am going to the salon today at 11:00. now I would like to go darker for winter, should I go dark blonde or a light brown? and do you think I should get low lights around my face, I thought I would cut my bangs so they go to the side below my eye? my hair is one lenght to the top of my shoulder, should I keep it like that or get long layers. I dont want to go short short, I have had bobs in the past that did look great, but I do not want to repeat that style. does anyone have any suggestions? or pics. I hope someone understands all that I am saying.

but for you - i think you would look good with a dark brunette - not TOO dark where it looks black, but darker than a light brown... does that make sense?

you have really nice complexion & your eyebrows are dark enough where you can get away with it!!

I can post after pics when dh gets home but no before because he has the camera, to go take pics of the new house going up. but I'll see if my friend can take a before pic.

not sure how funky of a cut u'll do, but i've been getting a shaggy layered cut for the past month or two...real bulky layers up top, longer/sleeker on the bottom.. i can not TELL you how many compliments i've been getting! and usually i am NOT a longer-length person at ALL. but i love it...it's SUPER easy to style, and people love all the texture the style gives..i will say make sure ur stylist has got a nack for funky styles..other wise u could walk outta there lookin' like u have a mullet lol.
as for color, going dark for winter is nice...i'd still do SOME variation in color just to keep the depth & texture going on.. here's a pic of my recent chop..

I say go darker, its nice to change it up a bit. When i go darker i dont do brown though, i always do red. Not sure if you like red or if you'd be interested. I think i may do red again soon. Its fun and vibrant.

I love the one layer look with the side swept bangs of jessica simpson that was posted.
