Anyone have cute pics/ideas for a haircut? I want something like a bob- but not too short. Maybe shoulder length or a little above. My hair is a couple inches below my shoulders now. Im goint o my hair dresser in a couple weeks and want to have an idea of what I want.
TIA!

Re: hair help
Try a graduated bob-they csn do it in any hair length up to the shoulders. Essnetially the front is longer than the back which is stacked. They are soooo amn variations of it and its easy to maintain.
Posh, Rhianna, katie Holmes, paris, all have variations of it so you can get an idea.

Re: hair help
this was my inspiration for my last chop...try searching 'hairstyles' in Google images...or for a particular celebrity who has a haircut you like...Mandy Moore always has styles i like...
i decided last minute to cut my hair and went to the salon and looked through celeb magazines... are there any celebs who's style you admire?
I'm a low maintance kind of gal, I can't have a hair do with too much upkeep otherwise I would have added some choppiness to my new do so i feel ya on not wanting something too 'involved'
This one is shorter than you said you wanted, but it'd work a little longer too.

Depends on the texture of your hair.Mine is semi wavy so it does what I want unless I flat iron it but its quick-10 minutes tops (Mine is to my jaw) and its soooooooooo versatile.
SInce its shtacked shorter in back less blowdrying (less hair) and less hassle. The front is long enough to give the illusion of longer hair. You can tug it back, sweep it forward, make your top coiff, whatever.
Mine is less angled in back than some women do it-depends on your face shape. A good stylist can determine what would work best. Donna (AmorPeruano) has a similar style but hers is more sharply angled than mine and it looks great.

thank you so much ladies!! Big help!! There are a bunch of celebs whose hair I like, but its hard to tell with my face shape how it would look on me. My hairdresser is pretty good and honest with me so Im not too worried. I just like having an idea of what I want.

Ya I like her color. I might have that copied as well! LOL! My hair person always does great color and blends in like 3 at a time.
its just hard cus I have to drive 5 hours to get to the hair people I like. LOL. In 8 years I still havn't found a regular person to go to in the city or on LI. So any sugestions for the future are welcomed!

Re: hair help
My colorist always does a great job-I got complimented for the stylists at my friends weddign as a matter of fact. Only issue she is in white plains but she does a phenomenal job.
She killed the burgandy red in my hair 3 days before the wedding without killing my hair so I love her lol.
If you can get up there its the Evangelista Salon in White plains and her name is Monica.
