hair question.. this is a TAD silly...

hello darlings.. i have a wedding on saturday and the dress i have would look a lot nicer if i had my hair up.. here's my issue..

i have the thickest heaviest hair.. putting it up (in anything more than a ponytail or rats nest) is SOOOO difficult..

do you think it would be ok if i had my hair half up half down? i would literally need 70+ bobbi pins to keep it up. i just don't have the patience or the talent! HAHA

I think 1/2 up would be perfect bc it would show the neckline but also look a little flowy like the dress

I feel you on the thick hair! I routinely have hair dressers tell me they hate my hair and it's the thickest they've ever seen. AND it's curl.

I say half up half down is totally fine.

Btw, I've discovered the wonders of updo/bun bobby pins. They're open wider than regular bobbies. They work much better. When I use those I use half the number I'd normally use. Not sure where you'd get them, maybe a place like Harmon or something? I stole mine from my cousin's salon.

OOoo Alli what about two french side braids instead and tucked into a bun at the back? Then you only need two hair pins to hold them on to the braid!

Sorry I love braids cause I'm a loser lol

But half up and half down is always good :)

i would TOTALLY do that if i could braid my hair.. i am the WORST at braiding, my sisters always do it for me!!!! guess i better learn for my little girl!!
