Hair question: What Should I Do?

Hair question: What Should I Do?

Kinda retarded question but Im asking it!

Y'all remember when I cut my hair and I HATED IT because it wasn't the chop I intially wated right? Well once I got used to the fact it was a graduated, asymetrical bob and not the exact style I asked for and got over my hair shock, I LOVED the way it grew out. I learned to style it and got compliments on a daily basis from people because it ended up being very flattering; had the look of longer hair with the ease of short hair.

So now I need a trim cause I am looking all kinds of hairy BUT my dilemna is this....

Do I go back to the same stylist and hope she can replicate what she did? (My fear is that she kinda 'screwed up' and thats why I got this haircut instead of what I asked for so she can't replicate it)She does amazing color so I want to keep using her for that but Im torn with the haircut cause I kinda feel I will be put on the spot next time I go to get a trim.

OR do I go back to my usual girl who has cut my hair for the last 4 years and usually does a great job on the cut even though I HATE how she blow dries it, and hope that she can replicate what I had if I show her photos?

ooOOOoo jenn this is tough! my initial reaction was 'go back to ur stylist of 4years'...BUT honestly, i'd give the girl one more try...especially if she's excellent with color. Maybe she was just havin' a bad day??? It's up to u....if ur hair grows quick, i'd give the new girl another shot....THEN if u're unhappy again, go back to ur other girl... if u ended up loving the cut, and she's fantastic at color(which is hard to find), i'd give her another try..can't hurt right?

Yea I was thinking that too. My only fear is my BP are now happening on March 22 so Im afraid of a horrific haircut cause then I will end up wearing a wig in EVERY shot instead of just a few

UGH decisions!

Hmmm, I think I'd go back to the new lady that gave you the short haircut recently. Even if she 'screwed up' a bit, she knows the cut she gave you and if you mostly want to trim it back up, she can follow the same 'lines' she cut last time, you know?

okay - so then DEFINETLY go to ur old girl....i'd wait untill after the BP's and then give her another try.... that is just way to risky. For the BP, go to what u know is going to be great...'cause that will be a huge regret if u go to the other girl & u hate it and/or can't style it.

i voted for go back to your original stylist, but if there was an 'other' option, i would've voted for you to go out and try someone new! there are lots of people out there with talento that can really surprise you! granted, hair is not a category you want to go christopher columbus exploring but still...be funky and try something new!

ITA w/ Lupita. Go try someone new. I have an awesome stylist in NJ to suggest if you do try someone new- Nina at Studio Nina, 548 Durie Ave, Closter, NJ. Tel: 201-767-0008. My sisters, mom, and I have been going to her on and off for...forever. Prob almost 10 years and she has known me through the long and short of it. She does AMAZING short cuts. She used to do my fav asymetrical bob on me. Rocks it every time. I have NEVER been disappointed.

Worse comes to worse Pete will just be able to say his 'secret long-haired lover' gave him a sexy book of pics instead of his wife

I say give the girl that didn't give you the exact cut another chance. You did end up liking it in the end and she does a great job on the coloring. If she messes up again then gid rid of her!!!!!
