Just posted this on BHB, but did you do it or did the post office do it? My post office said they have to do it and now I am scared that they will run it through the machines!

We took our invites to the hicksville post office and they hand cancelled it - they even offered, we didnt have to ask.

I asked at the Little Neck PO...they gave me the stamp and had me do it.....just ask and offer to stamp them yourself.

as long as they are too thick to go thru a machine they will have to be hand cancelled
i was so worried about this and truth is your guests really aren't going to care how it's stamped
