Happy Anniversary to Laurie & ME!!

Laurie!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Hope your day was FABULOUS and your year old cake wasn't to bad.


We had an amazing day. This morning I surprised DH by putting little notes around the house with all the things I love about him. I had to work for an hour this morning for our staff meeting, but when I came home I found red roses in my kitchen. Then we went out to Southampton, which is something DH and I have never done together, well at least when it didn't involve pumpkin picking. We borrowed my mom's convertible and stopped for lunch at Tiderunners, then drove around the area, walked through the towns, wine tasted and had dinner at an amazing romantic place. Then we came back and had year old cake (yum) and champagne.

The cake wasn't to bad actually, but its very un-appetizing eating year old cake. But my mom and dad did it and my in-laws did it and both of them will be married 39 years this year... so if it worked for them....

Oh and we had an amazing celebration week at the Jersey Shore (where I was with DH all week for the first time since our honeymoon, no CT!!!!) and yes I saw the CRAZY MTV filming going on including spotting J-Wow, Sammi and Vinnie.

I missed this because I was at my parents doing laundry and then packing all day. But congrats t o you both!!
