I know this not because I am as green as I should be but because they are having some huge street fair celebration on 42nd street right outside Grand Central and my office. Drums playing, a band and vendors everywhere. I was SUPPOSED to do the gym....
But I think im going to check out the commotion instead.

yeah, DD has been talking about recycling all week, poor thing, she is soo used to us recycling already, but since we never explained it to her, she thinks we are not doing it!

Lol thats really cute. I should scan and send you that eco footprint thing we did with our second graders. I am going to see if I can find it. they got a HUGE kick out of going around and telling people (you have a HUGE FEETPRINT! The earth is MAD at you!'

Oh well lol All of Grand Central is celebrating today. They clsoed down the entire street-all blocked off. Lots of kids out there.

Its fun. They have a band stand set up. Sinnging earth friendly songs, they have a mini rock wall for kids and tons of stands with conservation info. Anyone who has little kids in their family might want to walk by and look at the info for their kids. Lots of give aways and kids liek 'saving the earth.'
