The alleged prostitute known as 'Kristen' in the New York governor sex scandal is a 22-year-old New Jersey native from a broken home who now worries what people will think of her, according to a newspaper report.

'I just don't want to be thought of as a monster,' the woman, identified as Ashley Alexandra Dupre, tells The New York Times. 'This has been a very difficult time. It is complicated.'

It's so disturbing! He's an idiot......I just honestly DO NOT get WHY you would do something SO STUPID & while you are a top offical...like ***? do they have nothing better to do with their time. & frankly, if I were his wife I'd drop his a** and embarrass him even more. pathetic.

& not for nothing but she's trying to be an artist... was this her way of promoting her new song!

Ya know what gets me the most...is that it's not just that he cheated on his wife....ok men cheat...we know that....but what he did was ILLLEGAL....unless you are in Nevada.....paying for sex is ILLEGAL....he BROKE the law....and not something silly like tax evation....i hope they send his hypocritcal a$$ to jail!

well its was more convenient for him to call an escort... it was like a buisness deal sex in return for money... and case closed

otherwise he needed to have an affair... and we all know how dangerous that can be! guess he thought an escort agency was confidential enough

What gets me is that this man was so vehemently opposed to prostitution, prosecuted anyone and anything, and now here he is with the shoe on the other foot. What a dumb fu*k.

My heart goes out to his wife and daughters. What a brave woman she was to stand by his side like that.

Hopefully his wife will leave him when the dust settles and find someone better, The poor thing.

Its highly unlikely they'll prosecute him; in these cases the johns don't usually get nailed. And especially with him resigning they're likely to go easy on him. Either way, his real punishment has already been handed out; take a look at his wife, I'm not sure i'd call that 'standing by your man' :) she looks ready to KILLLLLL him; plus the man's ego was a mile high and 10 miles wide, his real comeuppance is being so publicly humiliated - that must be a pain worse than death for a guy with so little humility.
Dont forget its an election year, and the Dems have a lot to lose right now; i predict Silda plays the good wife for a while and leaves him after the election. So her loyalty might be to the PARTY not so much her cad of a husband.
And is anyone believing that this was a one-time event? I'm sorry he's been doing it for years and on some level, Mrs. S. probably knew... Just my opinion there but that's what i think...
I for one have always gotten a creepy feel off this guy; his eyes bore holes in my soul!
The truly interesting thing about this whole debacle is the sense of schadenfreude you can practically feel in corporate/financial NYC. This guy made a LOT of enemies in his meteoric rise, and you can practically hear the champagne corks popping all over wall street...

What is wrong with her, she seems attractive, strong sweet and nice, now she is standing by him. Even if you love someone move on. It just makes me SO SICK to see all of these wonderful ladies not leave there husbands who have cheated on them not once, not twice but probably forever. Its a shame that woman dont stand up for whats right anymore. This world is falling apart day by day.

Thats true, but for the life of me, I dont believe in staying with a man just because of the children, but because she is in the public eye, it was probably best for the children that she did stand beside him. Those poor kids, I hope the Mrs. finds someone faithful and leaves him very soon after all of this big mess is done with. She just has to remain strong and move on to a better life, if ya know what I mean.
