No plans today. Just hanging around the house, doing some laundry, cleaning up a little bit. Today is actually my Saturday from work so tomorrow is my errand running day.

Yeah, tomorrow is when my appointment was rescheduled for ... unless my doctor still has the flu & the call tomorrow morning to reschedule it again ....

Still in my PJ's, just puttering around the house, did some ironing and cleaned my kitchen.
I am supposed to be doing my dad's taxes, just not in the mood.
Darn gov't rebate. My dad is a senior and doesn't file taxes because his income is below the threshold, but in order for him to get that rebate check, he has to file 2007 taxes.
Not the 1040EZ form, the freakin 1040A form. Can't do it online either, it has to be the paper version.
87 pages of instructions just for him to get the $300.
Have to do the same for my in-laws too.

I don't get it. The gov't has their info because the all receive SS checks. Why can't they just add the $300 to their regular May checks ?

Sneaky feeling that the gov't is hoping that seniors won't take the trouble to file the paperwork. Less money for them to send out, to those that need it the most.

Back to taxes...........

I took Mimi Sanchez to the vet this morning for shots.. She is now a total of 4lbs at a year and a half.. She's my princess chihuahua (her Brother Chico Sanchez is my fattie 8lb chihuahua son!!)
Omg.. it cost me $163 for 2 shots an exam and some blood work and to drop off poop.. Are they CRAZY????

Then I went to my sister's house to watch my nephews for a little while and my mom stopped by and all hell broke loose and now she's not talking to me or my sister bc she is stupid..

So now I am home and I am going to take a nice hot bath and read my book!!!
