Has anyone...

Hello i am new on this board
my question is i really wanted to do the bouquet preservation but i waited to the last minute and i looked at my flowers right now and they are turning brown. Has anyone paid their florsit to make another bouquet just for the preservation.

Don't bother. I'm have my boquet preserved and they called me to tell me which flowers were damaged and they replaced them for $10 a flower and preserved them. I wound up needing 5 new flowers. Call them and find out before you spend the money on a new boquet that might get damaged in travel anyway.

Good Luck,
Kelly

FYI, something to think about...I thought the preservation would be a total of around $300, it wound up costing me close to $600 for nothing elaborate.

so do you think it was worth it? sometimes I wish I had may bouquet preserved but then again I think about how much we spent on the wedding and I didnt feel like paying additional $500.00....

I hung mine upside down the next day to dry out. It's a slow process, but it looks good so far. I plan on spraying it with clear varnish and putting it in a vase

I also thought about ordering another bouquet to send to be preserved. But it seems going through all that trouble will cost 3 times more than the bouquet itself...

i turned them all upside down and let them dry out. The best looking rose got clipped and then I put it into my wedding scrapbook.
