Has anyone been to Aruba?
I'm thinking of going there in Nov. for my 30th B-day. Has anyone been there? What is your opinion and where did you stay? Thanks for any info. was it an all inclusive?

Definitely do a search on both boards - I have seen alot of comments on Aruba. I was there a few years ago and it was beautiful.
Sounds like a nice bday idea
On our honeymoon. We stayed at the Radisson, and we loved it! The hotel was beautiful, the service was wonderful, and we had a great room overlooking the beach and ocean. It wasn't an all inclusive package, but we booked through Liberty Travel and got a great bargain. We are actually thinking about returning for our 1 year anniversary!
we too are looking to go in November (the end) was the hotel a mixed crowd - young old honeymooners family?? Thanks for your info.
We went at the end of November, and the weather was great. It was hot, but Aruba is known for their tradewinds, so it was bearable. It rained a few times, but only for a short time. One of our best memories was lying by the pool, sweating, when all of a sudden it started to rain. Most people ran for cover, but we stayed...It felt so good, and only lasted about 15 minutes. The Radisson was a mix of families, older couples and honeymooners. There are two big pools, plus the beach, so it was never really crowded. There are lots of great restaurants on the island too!
We just went on a cruise for our honeymoon that stopped in Aruba for a day. We loved it and can't wait to go back. Everyone that we met walking around town and in the stores were sooo nice. They say that temperatures are between 80-85 all year round.
Great to unplug. I posted a bunch of info about a month ago. Do a search and you'll find a bunch of info. If you have any other questions, I'm more than happy to answer them.

Aruba is amazing! We went two years ago in October. The weather is guaranteed! The people are so wonderful. There is something very special about Aruba. We stayed at the Tamarijn. We had the Mega-all inclusive package which includes access to their sister hotel the Divi Divi. It is a great low-rise hotel, young, fun crowd. It is pretty affordable but depending on your preference it lacks in ambiance like the high rise hotels, but i would go back there in a minute. It was very personable. We are actually talking about going there for our 1 year ann. Good luck planning and have a great time if you go!
I went there on my Homeymoon also . We stayed at the LA Cabana. It was nice because we had a room bigger than our apartment!!. We did an all inclusive and the dine around program which really was not worth the money. But the weather was great and you will have a great time.
