i want to trade in my sedan and get a SUV .. i was wondering if getting like a 07 or 06 is a good option? it would save us a ton of money as well, i just dont want anything to be wrong with the car.. but wouldnt it still have a warranty?

I believe that if you get a car from the dealer that just came off lease, it comes with a warranty, though I am not sure how long for. A friend of mine did this and had no issues.

We just got an 07 Jeep patriot last Monday and its still under warantee. It only had 75 miles on it. we had the option of buying an additional 3 years and we did. HTH

Def go through a dealer. They should ahve warranties but usually they are limited up to a certain mileage. My SIL just bought a car this weekend and it had a good wrranty.
Also a little trick of the trade is to go in towards the end of the month. if its been a slow month, they will usually wak down the price substantially.
My SIL was looking at a Honda Accord from 2005 that was fifteen five and because it was a slow week they knocked it down in the end to thirteen five. Thats two thousand buckeroos!
Shop around a little.

I agree on going towards the end of the month. We got a great deal on the jeep!!! We went to Herbee Dodge right in West Islip on Sunrise Highway. Love them there

Most dealers will have 'Pre-Certified ' Used cars. They come w/ a warranty and are usually in very good condition.

Definitely! It's a great way to get more for your money! Go though a dealership though, like the previous posters said. That way, you can get warrantees and such.

DH and I both own certified pre-owned Hondas.
We traded in my Civic last year because I wanted an SUV - so I got a used CRV with a full warranty to 100,000.
Then DH just got rid of his pick-up truck and purchased a Honda Pilot- that we both love!
I would definitely look around so you can have something bigger for the baby

thats what i got and i bought an Extended Warrenty on top of what it came with. my car was like brand new when i got it! def check into something like that. it was worth it and i saved sooo much $$$
