Has anyone else heard this scary rumor?

One of my friends told me that she heard that people from gangs (or just generally bad people) are putting strollers or car seats in the middle of streets in the hopes that a woman will stop and get out of the car to see if there is a baby there. Then when she gets out of the car, they attack her. I never heard this before but I remember hearing lots of cautionary tales like don't flash someone who's driving around with their lights off at night and stuff like that. If this is true, be careful girls!

I feel like I read this on Snopes ... the point of these tales is just to use your judgment and not be careless.
