i have a friend that wants to get married.. we read that u have to get ur license 24 hrs in advance before you get married.. then she just wants to do the city hall type of thing.. does anyone know if there is any other borough u can go to besides city hall? TIA
well you can go to any one of the five boroughs and go to court to get married, but its nys law that you have to wait 24 hours after you put in your application requesting a marriage licencse to get married.. hth
