after the wedding? I am really unhappy that I put my short veil on top of my head (as a blusher) and forgot to put it back on for pics after the ceremony at the back of my head and then to wear it all night at the reception. It is driving me crazy! I have seen pics and it looks fine but I know I it would have looked better having the short veil over the long one. I don't know why I am obsessing! I had a perfectly wonderful wedding day!

I can totally relate! Something very similiar..... I had originally planned to only wear my veil for half of the reception because I wanted to show off my beautiful up-do. I was dancing and having so much fun, I totally forgot about it. To add to it....one of DH's co-workers came to the church and she told him, 'I hope they got some pictures of Linda's hair without the veil.......it was so beautiful.....and I only saw it through the veil'.
The whole week when we got back from the HM I was obsessing over the fact that I forgot to take the veil off. Now, I'm cool with it. Just give it time......and you'll forget about it.
I obsessed for a little while about the fact that I said I wanted the cake topper on top of the cake but it was in front of it instead. I would have gotten one a bit bigger than 3' if I knew that was going to happen.

thanks guys- I am so glad I am not nuts- Its really driving me crazy. But then I looked at a ton of pics on here and many brides took off their veil after the first dance so I feel a little better. I just wanted to be a bride for as long as possible!

When I read certain things on BHB or Brides Review it brings back things that annoyed me but I don't find myself obsessing about anything. I guess I have just accepted that I can't go back and change things and unfortunately you don't get a do over, although that would be fun .

That my friend who had my camera for the reception had it on the wronf setting the entire time and did not USE THE FLASH I know I'm getting a billion pics from Duet but...
Oh, and I spent so long making up the scavenger hunts for the cameras. I didn't even put one camera per table, only did 5. I wanted to do the scavenger hunt so I wouldn't have 5 copies of the same pics. Did anyone follow it? Only one table. 20% of our table camera pics are of my nephew Shane (littlest one there). I love him but I already have dozens and dozens of pics of him.
That some people started to leave at 3pm when the wedding ended at 5. Then why bother coming?
Oh, and my cousin Danny and his wife who came, their check bounced we got a fee charged to our account, we left them a message and nothing I don't care about the gift at this point but the FEE and not calling me back is WRONG!

There is a picture that DH loves & is one of our 8 x10s, but evertime I look at it I fixate on how my necklace is twisted & you can see the clasp! It was like that a lot. Drives me crazy!

I wished I applied lipstick more often
I wished I organized a time to greet the guests - not during my reception
I wished I bustled my gown up earlier than I did.
I didn't but now I should have, bought camerass for all the tables for guests to take picutres -- I wanted more pictures ...oh well.

I obessed over my hair. The day of the wedding it looked great and a lot of people complimented me on my hair. So I guess it did look good. But when I look at the wedding pictures, my hair looks so flat! It drives me crazy until this day! I wish I would have made the stylist make my curls fuller on top. Oh, well, there is nothing I can do now about it. But no, you are certainly not the only one who obsess.

I'v e obsessed over little things for the last two months. I'll go a day or two without really thinking about it, then I'll spend the next 5 days thinking about all those stupid things and I get upset. There was another thread about this awhile ago. I think with time and perspective it gets better.

I wish I had spent more time placing my hairpins so that they would be seen. Only one or two of them are usually visible in the photos and it drives me crazy!!

Hey Lady! there are many...
too many to list! I want to go back and change a few things, especially about my appearance (all my curls fell out and my hair looked so ratty by the end of the night!)
Keeping busy with the move has eased some of the obsessing...
After a month mine has eased up a bit, but not entirely!

my hair, I was very stubborn and wanted it down and curly; and I keep seeing all these brides with beautiful up do's and I regret so much having my hair down. I never did any trials, I wish I had; even for the hair down I've seen beautiful trials; oh well!
