Has anyone seen the movie My Sisters Keeper?

I watched this movie last night and it was one of the saddest movies I've ever seen! I cried from the second it started to the second it ended!! So depressing!! Anyone else see it?

Yes, SO sad. Did you read the book? They completely changed the ending in the movie. The book was even better and sadder. I love that author.

Didn't see the movie but read the book. I'm curious as to how the movie ended - I HATED the way the book ended. It was such a let down. I actually have that problem with Jodi Picoult's books - I invest alot of time and emotion reading them and then I always am let down with her endings.....

I agree. I LOVE Jodi Picoult!!! Nineteen Minutes was the best in my opinion, so tragic but a page turner for sure.

I totally agree! I thought the movie was borderline crappy compared the book! So many parts were left out or changed. Not fond of this!

I loved the book!! I cried from start to finish. Before I watched the movie I knew that they had changed the ending but I had no idea that they drastically changed it. I was very disappointed in the ending of the movie. I thought in general the movie was good and of course I cried throughout the entire thing but I would suggest to those of you who have not read the book to read it.

I really like My Sister's Keeper but I will say that is the only book I read by her where I semi-liked the ending. I have read a bunch of her books and I am always disappointed by the endings also. For example, I loved the book the Pact but the ending totally killed the whole book for me. I felt like I read the whole thing for nothing.

I still didn't see the movie but I am hoping to get it soon!
