i dont remember where i saw this first posted (might have been here)

but....wow. you have to watch it. i think it is very well done as it gets the point across...much more than if she was just speaking to the camera.

Yea, I saw this...cant remember where though. It was disturbing bc it seemed so realistic.

everytime i see stuff like this, i just can't fathom going through it it's so prominent in the world, and i just don't get it.. how a man feels that entitlement and doesn't think anything of it..

that was really powerful..it upset me but i guess that's the point..

wow. no, I've never seen that before. Those kinds of things really do upset me. I just can't imagine anybody living like that - with that kind of fear. And further more, I can't even try to understand what kind of 'man' does that.

I can't view the video at work, but I agree with this. I can't imagine any human being getting some type of fulfillment out of hurting someone else. Especially when you are in a relationship with someone and you supposedly love and care for that person.

its a very strong video but i'm glad Keira Knightley had the guts to do something so graphic.

it does speak volumes. i feel terrible for any person who feels a relationship like that is normal

I just watched that and I have an Aunt who has been married to a monster for over 5 years. I have no idea how she does that. The statistic is 1 out of every 4 women will experience some sort of domestic violence in their life, which means there are probably some of us on this board who have or are experiencing that. It i so upsetting, its hard to understand how someone could stay but I guess no one can understand till you walk in someone else shoes.

what makes me even sicker about that statistic is that it means there are THAT MANY sick guys out there living like this and treating women so horribly. Seriously, a guy who hits a girl is not a 'man' at all. Especially since chances are that the woman is a lot smaller and/or weaker than he is. So what exactly are you proving? That you're a coward? Cause that's all I see. Makes me ill.

Anybody ever watch Bully Beatdown? These are the types of guys i'd like to see get their @sses kicked on the show.
