Has Anyone who is Unhappy with Their Pics...

Gone and complained about all the issues. IF so did they give you anything additional to make up for it. I know a lot of you know my issues about the photographer and there are just so many things that have pissed me off about him that i need to complain...I'm just wondering if they don't give a crap and kind of can hold you hostage so to speak.

Besides missing pictures, taking too few, tons of blurry and specs on pictures and really screwing up placing people, he left almost two hours before the end of my reception and just really did a horrible job.

Me and FH are having a problem picking out a Thank you Card pic..and its not me....everyone who has seen them(w/out even knowing i am upset about it) have made a comment to me about them. He screwed up and screwed up big time.

I spent $4000 and got 400 proofs....

Hmm we are not happy with the pics. either. DH is a photo fanatic and very critical of the work, so I told him to voice his complaints to the photographer -- you can bet he never will. I was not so happy with my DJ and let them know -- they made up for it one way and then.....well after looking at the pics I see that a lot of people WERE dancing so maybe I was too harsh on the DJ. BUT we are NOT happy with the photographer, and I don't feel like fighting again so this one is up to hubby.

i can't say that i am UNhappy, i guess i just had very high expectations from him. he did exactly what i asked and is a very nice person so there is no need for me to really complain. i understand i am my own worst critic, but i paid $2400 and got over 600 proofs (this does not include any albums). a handful of pictures are great and i believe i have enough material to work with in creating a digital/magazine style album...

it sounds like you however got a raw deal. have you paid in full? i set it up with my photographer that i would pay 50% up front and then 50% after only when i have proofs and negatives in hand. i set this up because i didn't want to be 'held hostage' so to speak, if i was unhappy with his service and work i would not pay the remaining 50%. jokingly, he said to me 'that is if you like them' when i told him i owed him the balance and would send it over once he was done scanning the negatives...

some things are not worth fighting for, but i think in your case there may be good reason. if you have already paid in full i would get my hands on your proofs and in writing present them with how they have violated your initial contract. if they do not compensate you somehow, i would threaten to take them to court...

We used Proline. The photograhper was great and we got along great that day (except when he wanted to leave). The pics were just really lacking. After i logged off last night i went to look at them again and now i noticed he didn't even get a pic of our first kiss at the church!!!

I am going to meet with the guy Ed that we did the contract with first. Hopefully i can talk to him about how unhappy I was. I refuse to pay them another dime for additional photos or what not. Maybe he will help me out there.

I paid the entire amount except $1000 but i had to pay that to get my pics and video before i even looked at them....maybe i should of changed that.
