I got dressed this morning feeling fine and comfortable...now that I am at work I am so uncomfortaqble and feel like my short is too short for my leggigns! I can't wait til this day is over! lol
I keep asking people 'Is this ok??' What a lsoer I am! lol

I was just talking about this with a co-worker last week! I left the house thinking I was wearing a reasonably cute outfit, and then I got to work and thought I looked AWFUL. I was like, 'How did I even remotely think this was OK?'

lol it must be one of those days for everyone....a co-worker of mine just told me i look like a hooker b/c i have too much eye shadow on!!!!!!........i did it in the car on the ride in!!!

I had one outfit that I always used to consider my 'skinny' outfit because it was the first (and only lol) size 10 I'd ever bought (it was when Ann Taylor Loft was running their sizes really big...) -- Anyway, it was a dress with a suit jacket to match but the dress came down to about 3 inches above my knees, but it still looked good, surprisingly, so I got it.
Oh, boy, every time I wore that to work, the secretaries would cat call!!!!! I was like 'what???? one day I don't dress like a nun and I'm julia roberts in pretty woman???'
P!ssed me off to no end.

Oh that totally happens to me. . or things feel like they are the great length when you are standing but DON'T work when you sit or if you put heels on!

YESSSS!!! and I work with kids so it makes me feel SUPER uncomfortable. I asked DH one time if these shorts I had on were okay for work and he said yeah and I got to work and they kinda weren't so I tied my sweatshirt around my waist so no one would notice....I came home and said 'how could you tell me they were okay?!?!!?!?!' he says 'you looked hot'
I wanted to kill him.

Haha, no but the other day I came home from work and DH said...'Whoa you wore THAT to work today? A little risky huh?' I guess my dress was too short and my striped pattern tights were too 'skanky.' His words. Oooops!

that happens to me ALL the time! i think it has something to do with not having any nice clothes since i lost weight... pants fall off and everything feels... weird on. (no i'm not complaining about that!) that and/or i think i'm skinnier than i am and buy things that i think will look awesome... only to realize much too late that... NO, not so awesome! ps - i accidentally got vicks in my eye... i know this has nothing to do with your question... just complaining!
eta: maybe it just has something to do with me needing a fashion intervention or a personal shopper

I HATE that. It does happen. It happened to me the day I was getting observed student teaching. I put so much thought into my outfit and then half way through the day was flipping out over it.
I loved my old job, jeans and whatever shirt. Usually just me and my two bosses in the office. Often just me. I could have gone in pajamas some days.

None of my clothes fit me properly because I have such awkward proportions, so I feel weird pretty much every day. I have a long torso so my shirts are always too short, and I have long arms so my sleeves are always too short, so I need to get a medium to fit my length, but I have no boobs and a flatter tummy so it's always baggy in front, but broad shoulders so the shoulder seams are closer to my neck...it's a mess. And forget pants, I need a 4/6 or 7/9 depending on the store and cut to fit me for the waist and hips, but they're a little short then for my legs, but since my height comes more from my torso than my legs the tall length jeans are TOO long on me!
I feel like a bag lady I need to hit the lotto so I can get custom fit clothes.
