i am doing my TY's now , and there are 1,000 proofs! i was thinking of putting some in my cards.. ones of course that i feel that i dont need, or have more than one of lets say. i definitely am not sending a picture to everyone.. just some..
any thoughts

You want to put some of your wedding pics in with your TYs for guests? Sure, that's a cute idea. Try to find some pics with your guests in them, that will make it more special for them.

my only concern on this one D.... that what if the peeps talk to each other?
Example: Aunt Sally gets a really cute pic and she speaks to Uncle Bob & his wife and they didn't get one...
That's the concern i have :)

I gave a few to my sister - I got a lot of duplicates.... You know how the photog shoots the same pic three times. She has a job that takes her out of the country for eight months at a time and she was leaving the week that we got the proofs so I gave her a few to have. I didn't feel the need to have 5 shots of my sisters and I in the same pose.

yea its only the pictures that lets say a certain couple was in.. my photographer took ALOT of couple shots throughout the reception.. i just dont feel the need for ALL of them..
not any pictures of DH and I.. just of the guests

We did . thats why we asked for the hard copies rather than teh proof book. They appreciated getting the pics of themselves.

i was thinking this too.. but if anyone confronts me about it, ill just tell them that there was no picture taken of you... it was out of my hands... lol

Heck no. I made copies of some of the proofs, if I wanted to give them away.

So far we made 1 copy, which I think is illegal, but it was for the parents of our GM who passed away last month. I never thought to put them in the TY though.

we have digital copies of our proofs, and there are a few couple shots I'd like to give away, I'm not sure if we'll give them our copy, or make them a new one, but I think the idea is very sweet either way.
If you don't want/need the picture, sure, give it away! I'm sure the couples would really appreciate it.

I definitely gave away some proofs...some b/c the couple looked so cute i thought they would appreciate it more than us...also the photographer took tons of pics of kids that we barely know...he has took a lot of very pretty single shots of our bridal party...just felt as if other people would get more enjoyment out of them then us
