I did it the day after we got home from the honeymoon. Social, DMV all credit cards and insurance. I was too excited to wait!!

Yes... changed everything in April... was married in February. Still have to change my US and Irish passports, but everything else is done. Not too bad! ;)

Yes finally last week!!! It was such a hassle for me because my employer doesn't want me to change my last name without a SS card - so last Friday, I went early to SS office (was the first one on line) and had my last name change...next stop, DMV and passport - ugh

I changed it with SS on Wednesday, but that's it so far. I'm hoping to get to the DMV on Tuesday.

I changed it at SS. I need to wait to get the new SS card to change it at the DMV, right?

i havent changed my name on anything....not because i dont want to-my name doesnt change much anyway. i have to make the time to do it all.

OMG you just made me realize I have to change the name on my teaching certificates too! So many things I forgot! I also forgot my vehicle registration too!

I did the mjor ones like SS, DMV and bank when we got back from the HM. But I still have to do credit cards, car loan, student loans, etc.

i did most things the week we got back from our HM. i 'm still debating on whether or not i'm going to change my passport over yet. . .i need to use it next year, but i JUST renewed it last august and i don't want to pay the fee again. and i still have to do my credit cards. and i still need to get the orchestras i'm in to change my name in their programs. we get one comp ticket (you mention the players name at the door) and DH went and said my married name and they looked at him like he was nuts cause they still had my maiden name down

I did at work, our bank accounts and my license...I still have to do SS and some of our bills-now if my boss would let me take a day to do it that would be fantastic

I did the big stuff and now am working on the other stuff!! I seem to be suffering an identity crisis

It's been a slow process, but so far I've changed my license and SS--need SS to change work stuff.
