Have you had a scare recently?

Have you had a pregnancy scare since being engaged or married? And though AHHHHH???

Okay...so I am on BC..but this month I messed it up a couple times and have just been way to laxxx...well I was a day late (I know only a day but still) and I really though I was pregnant...I mean I would be thrilled of course, but DH is such a planner that I think it would really throw him for a loop and then the other bad thing....I smoke ( ) So I had nightmares all night that I was pregnant and hurt my baby from smoking in the beginning (like now)....I need to quit like today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

awww!!!

i have not (thank God!!) we are SOOO not ready for kids right now!!!

i mean, if i WERE to get preggo - we would make due and welcome our baby happily... but i REALLY hope that doesnt happen any time soon!

I was late for a few days but I had the pms symptoms and I was like wait what if these are pregnancy symptoms, i didnt know....i was kinda upset because as much as Im ready im Not ready just yet, so it kinda freaked me out. Then a couple of days later Aunt flo showed up!

You know I think I was bugging out bc so many people (mostly adults...parents friends, aunts etc) keep asking me when Im getting pregnant....It has just been on the brain! Im like Im married 3 months....gimmie a breakkkkkkkkkkk

I feel the same way....ready and not ready at the same time I kind of thinking just accidently getting pregnant would be easier...then the constant struggle in your mind, is now the right time?? Ya know? For me it's a work issue of whether I will go back or not and I cant settle on one or the other

not recently, but before we were married. I always make a big deal out of nothing when it comes to that! I'm on the patch, which you change once a week, so its hard for me to forget to change it.

i am paranoid so every once in awhile i think that even though i know i am not - its like i know im not but i still get myself nervous - i'm just weird like that i guess hahaha

Nope no scares here. We double up on the protection (well DH wants to ). We're not ready for a baby yet.

Well lets just say me and Dh dont use anything for protection. I hate condoms and so does he and i havent been on BC in over a year! We always say when it happens it happens. So Iam freaking out right now. LOL. I told him he has to start wearing them though cause I have my 10 year reunion this year and iam a BM. LOL!!

I had a scare my last period. I was almost in tears after noticing my period was 4 days late. I am on BC as well but I skipped the month before since we were on our honeymoon. I thought OMG I got pregnany on my honeymoon and I have been drinking I was so upset about that,that I could have been hurting my baby. I know we are NOT ready now. Would I love a baby of course but I know we are not financially or emotionally stable right now.

Sometimes I think it would be easier to just let it happen and have me become accidently pregnant but then I am like NOT NOW PLEASE!! I have a feeling I am going to be nervous next week as well since I am due for Aunt Flo then. I got a litle lax with my pill last week and forgot 2 days in a row and we always have it without condoms But I also think HEY we are married now no one can say anything like why weren't you protecting yourself etc etc.

OMG!!!!! yes about a week and a half ago......

i went off the pill 3 months ago and we are starting the natural family planning/charting to time when we really want to start trying

and i really messed up on taking my temp and DH was away for a week, and he came back to a very horny wife and we were not careful and i ended up 5 days late and we were really sweating that we may be prego

we really want to get a house first then start a family but then thank goodness my period finally came

worse days of my life.....just waiting

its funny b/c accidents are good sometimes - like a few of you said it takes the pressure off b/c you aren't worrying about if the time is right or not - so i guess sometimes its easier if it just happens....

I think if it happened now for DH and I it would be totally irresponsible on our part - I want to be able to really give for our kids - mentally and financially - and right now we don't even have a house - so as much as I get baby fever sometimes I know it wouldn't be right for us right now - so better to just keep playing it safe....I want to have a home and spend time together making it ours - I was thinking about if I got pregnant after we moved and had a house but I wouldn't even be able to help DH paint if I was pregnant! So I think I want to at least be comfortable in our new home for awhile - besides there is so much we want to do on our own first and I want to at least do some of those things - I know if we waited to do it all we would be waiting forever but I do think its possible to squeeze in a few more things before kids....

no real scares yet. Little ones where im like a few days late, but nothing too bad. I had a bad one a long time ago. LOL I was a virgin though. But the nurse I went to was saying and insisting it was a big possibility I was pg cus I was like 10 days late on my period. So I thought I had been impregnanted by god and was ccarrying the next messiah. I had gone there because of a bad sinus infection and was told I may be pregnant. I dont think I even had a boyfriend at the time...

I think I am a freak- I am never late but I worry about being preggo every month. But then I get AF, and I get sad that I'm not pregnant.

You should def quit- especially if you think you will be trying for real soon. It will just make it that much easier when you are really pregnant! Goodluck!!! You can do it!

This month...I had PMS symtoms about a week after we and it was during ovulation...I was scared and happy at the same time. Turns out it was a false alarm. We aren't doing anything to stop it or get pg, we just have the 'tude that if it happens, it happens and we will be happy if it does

yep i did last month - on Inauguration day... here I am watching Obama get sworn in and thinking ...'no sh!t change here we come' But I wasn't....it was weird b/c I still felt that panic like I was 16 and shouldn't be preggo...but it'll happen when the time is right!
