Have you used any of my vendors?

ATTN: NEWLYWEDS...PLEASE HELP ME!

I am getting married at the end of next month and I was just curious if anyone used any of my vendors. I am making all my lists of things to tell them about what I want and don't want and I was wondering if any of you had any tips for me. I post on the BHB Boards all the time but there aren't too many brides that have used or are using my vendors.

I would really appreciate any feedback...good or bad!

Church: St. Agnes Cathedral, Rockville Centre (Is it rude to call them a vendor?)

Reception Hall: The Lido Golf Club, Lido Beach

DJ: Variety Music, Oyster Bay

Photography & Video: Ferlise Photographers, Levittown

Limos: Royalty Limos, Franklin Square

Flowers: Mormile Florist, Rockville Centre

Dresses: Kay Ann Bridal, Franklin Square

Tuxedos: Advanced Formalwear, Rockville Centre

I used Royalty and was happy.

I dont know any of your other vendors but your best best is to SEARCH on the name of each and see what comes up.

I've actually tried that...most of the posts that come up are mine...

That doesn't help me!!!

I used Royalty too. Take a look at the vendor rating board.

I used Royalty too and was extremely happy with them
I Have seen pics from Ferlise that were great! I didnt use them but saw nice pics!

Another happy Royalty customer. Only tip I have for yu is make sure you speak with them a couple days to a week before and confirm times and destinations and get them directions. They had called me to discuss and I had not one complaint with them!!!!!

Haven't used any...but I am friends with Mr. Ferlise's (photo) daughter. She was at my wedding and I know he does a great job.

I would suggest confirming all details with each vendor 3 days prior to the wedding. Make sure everyone has directions to each location and knows what times to arrive.

I am a happy Royality Limo customer. I had no problems at all.

We used Royalty and loved them, I have never heard of any of your other vendors, how did you hear of them, did you book them thru others??? All the best

I got married at St. Agnes. Beautiful ceremony. We had Msgr. Kelly. Who is saying your Mass?

The only thing I can help you on is that the pictures my photographer took in the Church came out a little yellow because of the lighting/stained glass wondows. Our photography studio did a nice job with our final album, but the proofs were so yellow.

Trish, we have yellow windows in our church, but Lia our photographer must have done something with her lens, b/ c all the pix people shared with us was yellow like the one above but the ones for our proofs and the ones in our album are all normal.

We used Variety Music. They were beyond awesome!! We had Ray as our MC. I faxed them a 2 page outline of my ideas and requests. They did not forget a thing. 3 couples that attended our wedding booked them for there upcoming weddings. I beleive they have Harry as there MC. He is also great, he has a terrific sense of humor.
