thx. how many nights did you do in kauai? we wanted to do 5 nights but someone told me thats long for kauai?

Both times we went together we did Kauai first then Maui.
First trip we did 5 nights on Kauai and 7 nights on Maui. For our HM we did 7 nights on Kauai and 12 nights on Maui.
We love both islands but they're very different from each other.

We did about 6 nights on each island. I would have liked to have spent more time on Kauai.

Michelle, my TA said to do 4 nights in Kauai and 6 in Maui...and she recommended the Hyatt on both islands...
Said theres also a Four Seasons in Maui and a Fairmont in Kauai but both are crazy $$

Thx we are stayin at four seasons in Maui and Kauai the grand hyatt.. just not sure which Island we should do first.. mike wants to do fun first then relax after, lol :) thx!

Just got back from Hawaii!! We went to Maui first only because it was tail end of whale season...I don't think you can wrong either way though...both islands have tons of activities and relaxing too.
