Our cousin just got engaged last weekend and are looking to go to Hawaii for their honeymoon, but have heard it is around $10,000.00 for 2 weeks. Can anyone who had gone for their honeymoon recomend any deals that you may have used or heard of. They know it will be expensive, but that amount is too much. Any suggestions would be great.

I would recommend that your cousin get the Hawaii for Dummies book by Frommers. It's an excellent source of info ... everything very well laid out & lots of recommendations for how to do this trip well on a budget. I didn't get until we were in the airport & I was mad that I didn't know some of the info sooner!!! We would/could have saved a lot of money by using some of the tips in this book!!!

I went to Hawaii for my honeymoon for 2 weeks for well under $10K.
Call a travel agent and get some prices. I went to Oahu, Kaui, and Maui.
I stayed at the Westin Maui, the Marriott in Kaui and I forget the name of the hotel in Oahu, but I could find out.
I paid about $5500 for both of us including airfare and interflights.
If you want to to do a lot of the activities, then you'll end up paying a lot. We did activities but we also did a lot of exploring on our own since we rented a jeep. We bought Kaui Revealed and Maui Revealed. Both excellent books and a must for doing self-tours on the island.
