Lisa, I just got back on Saturday - it's AMAZING!!! Which Islands are you going to? I went to Maui and Kauai - AMAZING!!!!! Let me know if you need info on where to go, eat, etc! ENJOY every minute!!

We spent our last hawaiian vacation mostly on Maui so we're skipping it this time.

We're visiting friends on Oahu (and staying with them) and then heading to Kauai. Our time on Kauai will be split between a condo near Princeville on the north shore and the Hyatt on the south shore. Then we're back to Oahu for a few days before heading back.

Views of Bali Hai from our condo:




The sun sets in the direction of our view, so we should have some awesome sunsets! And there's a path down the cliff to our own private beaches.

So jealous, I never wanted to leave! I just got back from the Hyatt in Kauai - it was amazing there. If you want some good resturants to eat in, I highly recommend Roy's Poipu (for seafood and steak with an Asian/Hawaiian flare), the Beach House Resturant (amazing for sunset dinner) and 2 delicious resturants at the Hyatt: Dondero's for Italian (yes, Italian there in Hawaii was AMAZING) and Tidepools in a hut on the salt-water lagoon.

DH and I didn't really care for Tidepool's at the Hyatt - it was pretty, but the food was just okay.

Oh and I think Queen's Bath has been closed for safety reasons but if you do go, be very careful! It's a natural pool near the ocean that gets filled quickly in high tides - a few have recently drowned, so I think it's closed
