Hawaiian Crisis

Sorry to crash your board guys, but I dont know where else to turn. FH and I are scheduled to fly from JFK to Honolulu (first layover in Phoenix) then switch planes and take another flight to kauai. I am starting to think this is too much travel for one day,especially right off a wedding.
Do you think we should spend one night in Honolulu and then fly to Kauai the next morning? Or should we just deal with it and go to Kauai. We wont get to Kauai until about 8 pm. we get to honolulu at 3.

any advice from those who went to hawaii?

If I were you I would stay a night in Honolulu, just because it is a great place to see. Then you can fly the next day to Kauai. You can see Waikiki Beach and even Pearl Harbor the next day if that interests you. Good luck!

I don't know if this is possible but when we were in Hawaii there was this sail boat you could charter for overnight cruises. (it had 3 bedrooms) Maybe you could stay on the boat and it could take you to the other island?
