I am going to see a couple of houses tonight in Islip Terrace but East Islip schools. Is this a good idea or no?
Depends on where it is. What are the street names? Do you know? There are some very nice parts of Islip terrace, and some eh parts that are up closer to CI, or just north of sunrise on the west side of town near the HS.
75% of Islip Terrace is nice. So its probably fine.

You'll be able to tell when you show up there if its in the nicer part :) It will be obvious :) As long as there aren't cars in cinder blocks in the yard next door and uncut grass, you're good.
