Hello fellow Newlyweds......

What are you doing or what did you do for first anniversary? Did you go away? Stay home and have a night out on the town?

I am thinking of going away..since I am a travel agent and I am always planning other's trips, I have to plan one for me

(We are going to Barbados on May 6, a few days after our 6 month anniversary....

We were in the process of moving from Boston to Long Island, so we closed on our house 2 days before our first anniversary, then went back to Boston to finish packing, took a few hours off on that Sunday (our anniversary) to go for a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant in the North End. Then back to the apt. to finish packing before we colapsed into bed to catch some sleep before the movers arrived early the next morning. Not all that romantic, but special none-the-less.

Aw that's so sweet SonicStef! And sounds like fun!!

I don't know what we are doing. Our anniversay is the day after Labor Day, so we're thinking of going somewhere Labor Day weekend.

It was totally cheesy (that was the idea) but a lot of fun and very memorable. And amazingly we got some great photos from teh chapel.

Now what shall we do for #2?

Barbados sounds like a lot of fun 2003fallwedding!
I think for ours, we are going to stay out on the North Fork for the weekend. We love to take trips out there to go to the beaches in Southold and to the wineries

We are planning a trip to Florida, going to Disney World and Universal. The plan is to get back the day before our Anniversary, and ON our Anniversary go out to dinner at the WBM with our parents to celebrate.

We are going on a cruise to Florida & Bahamas. It's a 7 day cruise on the Norwegian Dawn. We wanted to go during the week of our anniversary but one of my best friends is getting married on that saturday of the week so we booked it for the following week. I am in her bridal party and ironically she booked the same cruise we did for her honeymoon trip. I had told her last year but I guess she forgot so we both were cracking up when found we will be on the same cruise together!
