Help!!! Did all you newlyweds wear thongs under the gown?
I normally don't wear them, so I hope I can find a nice pair of seamless undies to go with my gown? Or am I stuck wearing a thong?

I didn't wear a thong. Is your gown a sheath? Unless its very fitted, I don't see why you'd need a thong.

I had an A-Line with crinolin under it- I just wore regular blue underwear (my somethng blue)

Nope. I wore regular white underwear along with my bridal slip. I'd twirrled a lot on the dance floor. My gown was ball-gown type which during my twirrls my slip shown at the bottom. I had my blue garter (something blue) on very high to my thigh which I made it harder and more fun for him to remove.

Then crinoline on my dress starts below the undie area, so there is only one layer of lining under the dress, and color definitely shows through a little.

I wore a thong, but I wear them every day, so it was a no-brainer for me.

i posted on your NWR post (i know too much information). but i also rememberd that i have these terrific seemless panties for work that i got at Kohls in their lingerie dept. Definitely check them out! (cannot remember the brand, but they are called seamless something...). Good luck!

i was worried about that too (static i mean). i don't think they did, but honestly, by the day of, i was so euphoric, i didn't notice anything! but i think i would have noticed that at the fitting. and mine was basically a sheath (with a slight a line at the bottom) but much more clingy than yours. I think you will be fine. oh yeah, and i wanted to tell you that i normally HATE pantyhose, but these were actually comfortable and i put them on at 10 am and didn't take them off until after midnight! i actually bought two pairs and never opened the second one so i can let you know the exact name when i get home (if you are still interested!)

God no! I would not have been a happy camper if I had :D It wasnt an issue for me since my dress was aline anyway.
There are a lot of places that sell 'seamless' panties. Unless you dress fits snuggly against your netherregions, you could use any one of those.

Talk about uncomfortable! Yikes! There was like 15 layers between my bootie and the outside of that dress so no thong needed!

Didn't need a thong either... no way panty lines were showing through all that material. I wore sheer blue ones (for my something blue too!).

I didny wear one either. I wanted to be comfortable. I do wear them, depending on what type of pants Im wearing.

Ouch - no! All I needed was 4 layers of crinoline scratching my bootie...I bought those cute shorts/panties from victoria's secret in white lace. Not only were they extremely comfortable, but my DH LOVED THEM!!!!!!

Yup, wore a thong but i do pretty much everyday. But my dress was very fitted.

I wore one too. It was the most expensive thong I have evr worn Let's just say I won't be buying a thong at that price again.

Mine was a sheath dress. I couldn't even wear a half slip without it showing. I wore control top pantyhose and nothing else. It was ok. I don't usually do that because I feel icky, but I had no choice. EVERYTHING I tried showed, even a thong.
