Help me come up with an idea for fathers day cake!

I want to make my dad a nice cake for fathers day...

but can not come up with anything...

He's an oddball...

His likes are:

Steak (did that)
Food
going out to eat
coins

thats it....

Any fun ideas? lol (We had to give a state test today... like a field test so i am bored for the next two hoursss)

Have you tried the Wilton website. I use them for my inspirations.

What about a cake that looks like food. I know you did the steak one already but I googled some other ideas.

Or you can just do a pretty cake that says I love you. Something with chocolate curls or flowers on it.

How many children does he have. You can also do something like this but making the people look like his children. I can't. My dad has one child and one SIL.

maybe a cake shapped like the logo of the place...and then get him a gift card to go out to eat...

what about something that loosk like a coin collection?

or the logo of his fav pace to eat?

does he like chinese food?what about the take out box?

You can make a regular cake w/ frosting and drape a fondant tie over it (since ties are the most cliche father's day gift ever). And on the tie, you can write in edible ink either a note to your dad, or inside jokes, or stuff he likes? It's not as complex as some of the other cake designs, but I can see a dad getting a kick out of it :).
