It's to wear to my best friend's wedding in August (hi jennie!)... it's a night wedding.
I'd love to find something strapless, maybe babydoll/empire waist style... basic colors (nothing too bright or crazy!). I'm not sure if I want something long or not... what you do girls think for a night wedding??
Maximum price.... maybe $350 tops?

check out BCBG dresses... they have a few cute empire/babydoll dresses...
heres a link.. bloomingdales and lord and taylor carry a lot of them if you cant get to the actual store!!
Here are a few I like - I would go with a long dress for an evening wedding ... even though short is the style now...plus, my fam/friends like to dress up!
could you post where you found the dresses too, please?
I definitely want one in a light flowy-ish fabric, if that makes sense...

The ones I posted came from Nordstrom. Chiffon is a soft flowy fabric.

I say post the one you like the best than I can help more as to what your looking for. I posted darker colors b/c you said it is a night wedding.
I got mine from 3 sites. I also looked at your profile and tried to guess your style. I don't know if I did well or not.

i loved this betsey johnson dress that they had in black... but then all of a sudden it went on sale and sold out! (it's not pink at all... that's just the background)
