Help me make a decision

DH has a good friend at work that's leaving he is getting married in Tulsa Oklahoma memorial day weekend, i know DH wants to go but i wanted to go away for out 1yr do something before we have kids we cant do both money wise! sooo what do i do?

we have 2000 to spend we were thinking of driving to Tulsa and stopping and sight seeing on the way home we think it will cost about 1500 with gifts and stuff

what is something cheap and nice we can do for our one year?

DH and I didn't do anything for our 1st year, as we had been in Aruba at the Hyatt for two weeks in August.

How about a long weekend somewhere at a B&B, like in the Berkshires, Cape Cod, or in Amish country ?

yeah i think were going to drive to Tulsa it will be and adventure and well now i have the time off in september i might not!

We aren't doing anything amazing. I booked a trip to salem, MA for a weekend. It's fun and there are a lot of museums to visit.

ETA: We would like to jump on the baby making train soon and would like to plan another big trip like a cruise or something before. The Salem trip is something we've wanted to do for a long time and just never did. I was always in school.

I think driving to Tulsa is a really great idea. I love road trips, and I love spending time alone with DH on the road. It's nice to get to sight see as well. I think that's a great idea.
