My old car was laverne so it can't be laverne again although it's my favorite car name in the whole wide world. I'm going for old people names, I like those the best.
eta: it has to be female

Re: Help me name my car!
lol. That is so funny. I named my old car Sherman (because he looked old and fat. hahaha). My new one looks young and vibrant, I named her Shaine.
How about Ruth or Roxanne? I really like Shirley though (which somebody already mentioned), that's definitely a good old woman's name. haha. (it's my grandmothers)
ETA - oh, I didn't see that you've already narrowed it down to 2. lol. Good choices

that's funny, I almost named my car sherman but he'd just be confused because my car is so evidently female

isn't it funny how they can seem to have genders?? My first 2 cars were so clearly Male, and my last 2 were Female. How odd is that?? We're so weird. DH just doesn't understand it. He has this old classic truck he's been rebuilding from the inside out and I told him that he HAS to name it. I suggested Butch, but he's still not sure.

Re: Help me name my car!
Esther, Ruth, Mildred, ??? Those are some old lady names I can think of.
When our generation are in their golden years, the young kids will associate names like Jennifer, Nicole, etc with old lady names lol.... feels wierd to picture it lol

I thought about this! And now names we consider old are coming back. Like sophie is a really popular name now and when I was little only grandma's were named sophie.
