help! question about cooking turkey in a crockpot! Update: Nevermind!
All the crockpot recipes that were posted lately inspired me to dig my crockpot out from the back of my pantry! Today I'm trying to cook a turkey breast in it. I'm just wondering, since I have never cooked anything in a crockpot, if the skin of the turkey is supposed to darken the way it does when cooked in the oven. It's been cooking for about 4 hours, and the skin is still white! Should I leave it in longer? TIA!
Update: Nevermind, I asked my FIL, who laughed at me and told me that I have to put it in the oven for little while to get the skin to brown.
Thanks anyway ladies! Hopefully it comes out edible!

Re: help! question about cooking turkey in a crockpot!
Cover crockpot and cook on low for 5-7 hours or until turkey is tender and meat thermometer registers 170 degrees. 8-10 servings
I have been looking for Turkey Breast Recipes.
If you have a Meat thermometer, then as long as it is 170 I think it will be OK
