i don't have anything catchy---i just wanna say good luck!
i would think as an LPN you'd have so many job opportunties around being that nurses tend to be in short staffing.....so i hope your search is quick

thank you so much!!!! its already been 3 weeks and not even a call back ive sent out about 20 + resumes and nothing... the prob. is im a new grad with no nursing experience (i have been a medical assistant for 2 but that doesnt seem to count) and everything requires experience.. but how can you get experience if noone is willing to hire you and give your ht experience! its very discouraging!

also send it out to all the hospitals and nursing homes in your area. they're always hiring at some point.

Look into the NYtimes, craiglist seems to have postings for LPN's a lot.
If I am not mistaken I believe LIJ hires a lot of LPN's. Try looking them up online.
Do you prefer Dr's office or hospital work? Any kind of specific area of medicine?

I know my SIL just graduated with a masters, and no one will hire her, its terrible, she kept saying how easy it would be once she got her masters and now its once she has experience...so frustrating
Good Luck...Hope you find something soon

Ultrasound is great! I have a few clients that are US techs and they LOVE it!! One of my clients is a PA and is switching to US, there's good money esp in vascular- good luck with that!
goog luck with a job, if i see anything i will let you know. Even though I do not work as a traditional rn anymore, i still always browse the opportunities.

Re: help this new wife get a job!!!
I know that you LIJ radiology is usually looking for ultrasound and xray techs. You do need to be license fo r Ultrasound but you have to get a certain # of hours in to take that test. Vascular ultrasound is the way to go $$$$ in that Good luck.

Re: help this new wife get a job!!!
try nursing homes and rehab facilities...they will hire new grad LPN's.
Stay away from Sanford Browne...i went there when it was UDS and it was a total rip off.
I am a registered nurse, i took my LPN boards bc i could during school....nursing homes, rehab, agency, and private duty are the way to go. good luck!
