Help - Videographer Not Showing Up

hi guys, i got married two weeks ago and apparently the cameraman was in an accident and was not able to get there in time. a back-up one showed up almost 5 hours later for the reception. so, we do not have our ceremony or the entrance of the groom, and the cocktail hour (it was an an indian ceremony that was about 2 hours)
my freind was arguing with the owner on the phone about sending a back-up and he said 'she will be comped for what we missed'
i have not gotten in touch with them yet between all the craziness after the wedding so i'm not exactly sure what to to ask for? i kind of feel like asking for all my mone back becasue he missed really, really important things but then i wont even have the reception to look back on.
what do you guys think? what's reasonable to ask since they missed something that i will never get back?
btw, when i spoke with the owner while signing the contract, he said that 'george' would be the cameraman that day, but the guy that showed up for the reception was george and he apologized and said that he was not the one scheduled and that he was the back-up. is that suspicious?
