HELP - we're starting our home search!
Hi ladies
My husband and I are being thrown into a search for a home. Our lease in NYC is up at the end of June and we have decided to try to find a place in Queens or Nassau before then or to move in with his mother in Jericho while we continue our search. My father in law passed away last month (see my posts on brides board) and mom, hubby & I have decided that a short stay with mom will be helpful and comforting to all of us.... BUT - not forever, so we are hoping to find a place in the next 6 mos or so.
ANYWAY, my questions to you are:
Can anyone recommend a reliable broker for Queens/Nassau border area?
Any feedback on North Shore Towers?
Does anyone know what the townhouses off of exit 23 of the Grand Central are called? I pass them on the way to work in Queens when i go in from LI. I am told they are new - it is a development of grey townhouses, but I know nothing about it! Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
