Help with Digital Wedding Album Layouts... (New pages added, would love more suggestions)

This is my first run at the first few pages. Any feedback is welcomed.

Keep in mind that:
a) the photos in the 'opening page' layouts are just placeholders...i may use different ones depending upon how the rest of the album comes out
b) The images you see below are spread across two pages..so this is both the left and the right side of the page.
c) The book is much larger than these images...about 12 inches wide (24 across two pages) by 16 inches high.

What do you think? Do you think its too 'boxy'? How about the photos selected for the veil page and the getting ready transition page? Which version of the opening page and transition page do you prefer?

I must be cratively challenged because other than the pictures, I don't see a difference between the first two! (come to think of it I never did well in Sesame Street's 'one of these things is not like the other' either ) ...
... As usual, I *love* your design and layouts! I think the first 2 opening pages compliment and incorporate your love theme, but I think the 3rd with the pic of you two works well with the layout of the following pages. (I'd still use the first one though). The 'veil laying' is myfavorite page; and I like the pics in the second getting ready page better than the first. The chalkboard is so great!
Don't think it looks too boxy at all -- it works well with the square LOVE logo.
Good job girlie! Keep it up!

I liked the second opening page and the second transition page.

the first opening page was a little blurry on my computer, so that's why I chose the second over it. I love the layout of both.

I liked the veil page. I don't think it's too boxy, but I'm pretty anal and I like things to be ordered.

Hey Stef, LOVE the boxed LOVE opening page over the pic of just the two of you. Kind of goes with your LOVE theme and just works. I also love the second version of the getting ready since I like the frame of your Dad and you rather than the black in the background. I don't think it is too boxy, it looks orderly that way and gives a nice quick, clean look at so many pics.

Stef, I cannot offer and creative advice. But I will say you are a talented woman! Your work is amazing, and you will have fabulous keepsakes of your wedding!

FYI: The difference btween opening page Layout 1 and opening page Layout 2 is that the photos behind the 'love' are different (color in the first, black and white in the second)

beong that I am a Creative Moron, I cannot help with your questions. (I am having trouble just making a scrapbook ) But I did want you to know that you are a creative genius and I wish I had 1/8 of your talent!

I like the 1st opening page (the top left picture grabs my eye)...but 3rd is up there as well

and I like the last getting ready...

amazing.

I think opening lay out 1 is better since the color makes it 'pop'.. in B&W it just looked like a smush to me.

I also REALLY love opening lay out 3... but I'm sure you can use that pictures some where else in the album, so number 1 out of the 3 would be my choice.

I like getting ready & transition version 2...

I like either 1 or 3 for the opening page and as for the rest of the pages...LOVE EM'!!
I can't even begin to imagine how much time you've put into this so far, but I have to say, it's well worth it. You're doing a fabulous job.
(you really ought to consider switching careers and doing design work for a living, you have such a great eye for it!)

are you using digital pictures you took or was your photographer digital....my photographer was all digital and this album is an upgrade..the one he has in his studio is amazing but it is a lot more money! Thanks

My photographer is not digital but has his lab scan the negatives so I can work with the digital files.

I like the veil one very pretty. I just don't like the first pic though. Not pretty enough

Stef, I like the opening page 3 and the either the 2nd or 3rd getting ready layout!!!

I don't like the little 'love' photo image at the first two opening page images and prefer a straight image rather than a combo of four as in 'love' collage. I think perhaps its too small?

I will have to post the LOVE square at actual size. The actual one is 6 inches by 6 inches...so much larger and more clear than what you are seeing here. I will post that this week so you can tell me if you think its too muddled in actual size.

Looks amazing! I really like the third opening page layout with the single photo. And I like the second transition page. I don't think it looks too boxy. I really like the clean look it has.

What computer software do you use to do these?
