Is it appropriate to wear a dark shirt to a Saturday wedding? The service is in church in the afternoon, and the reception is to follow at 6mp. The suite is dark olive-gray. what do you think?

Is the shirt darker than the suit or lighter? I think as long as there is a little bit of contrast its ok...

The shirt is black, so is the tie! i was just worried that may be you are supposed to wear a white shirt because the service is in a church! I never been to a wedding service in a church, so iw as just making sure! Just trying to be respectful, ya know!

Oh, so you're more worried about the fact that its a church ceremony vs. the wedding issue... I don't know then. I have never attended a church wedding, but I can't imagine the black shirt/tie is a problem...
