I am one of very few women in a management level at my job. The men wear suits every day, and the few women wear an assortment of things. I know I am expected to wear a suit, but I am on my feet most of the day, so skirt suits and heels are not an option.
I would like to shake it up, and wear blazers with pants, like a fun patterned blazer. This way, my wardrobe will be a little more interesting, and I will have more variety.
Any thoughts on where I can find affordable but stylish blazers, or better yet, order some online? Perhaps our new blogger has some ideas for me?
TIA

Re: Help with Work Clothes
Try the Off Saks Outlet, I always get a ton of nice work clothes there that are fun yet still professional.

Re: Help with Work Clothes
I have to wear suits every day, but I prefer pants suits because they're more practical and I can wear flats. I usually get the Tahari suits when they're running sales at Macy's or Lord & Taylor. (Macy's Friends & Family sale starts tomorrow). I mix things up by wearing more trendy tops and blouses with the suits.

I get a lot of work clothes at NY&Company. They always have sales and coupons and they have cute stuff that I can wear to work. I hate spending a ton on work clothes I would rather buy regular fun clothes. I get a lot from H&M too.

I say H&M, and when you shop the sales at Banana Republic (especially the outlet) and Express you can get some things for really cheap there too.
Maybe check out Ann Taylor Loft too?

Ann Taylor.. but also FILENES BASEMENT AND loehmanns!!!
Stick with black and gray.. and get bold colored shirts.. that way, if u have to go to dinner after work or whatever.. u can always ditch the blazer and look like ur going out
and accessorize!!
