HELP w/Tux

Hello Ladies,

I am sneeking over here for some advice

BM Dresses are in mango/azalea (orange/pink) by Jim Hjelm. I am having a day wedding and the only vests that went well was ivory. My dress is ivory and FI's vest is ivory too.

The suggestion was to have FI in an ivory jacket (50/50) so that he would stand out. Did anyone of you go that route

My DH had a different Tux from the GMs. That worked pretty well.

My DH wore a 3-button tux w/black vest and tie, the guys wore a 1-button tux w/gray vest and tie. Why not have the guys wear black vests and your DH wear an invory vest. OR you could have them wear Morning Suits which is proper for a day-time wedding.

My GMs were all in black (black tux, vest, tie) and my DH was in a black tux with an ivory vest / tie.

Since you put the GMs in ivory vests, maybe put your husband in all black? Or have him wear a different sort of tie?

Im not a fan of the white tuxedo.

Personally, I am not a fan of the white tux. My DH and two dad's and groomsmen all had the same tux. DH didn't want something different. His bout. was red to match my bouquet, while all others had white. I would definately stick with all black tuxes and change up the vest/ties if you want FH to stand out a bit. But also remember, everyone will know he is the groom. so he'll stand out anyway!

I have to agree, that the white tux does not have much appeal.

I like the black vests for all & ivory for FH.

We had the girls in burgandy, the GM in silver vests/ties, & DH in platinum. Looked great!

I would put him in a longer jacket, or a black vest, but NOT an ivory jacket. I just don't like white/ivory tuxes.

You could also put your groomsmen all in black vests and keep you FH in ivory vest. Thats how we did it. Black would coordinate with the BMs just fine.

I thought of having the GMs in black vest/ties and FI in ivory vest/tie , but thought it was too dark for the day I have to go back to the tux shop again
