So, IM working out everyday. For those of you who workout a lot....Ive been doing the elliptical machine for 1 whole hour and burning a little over 600 calories a day. Should I be switching my workout up??? Like half hour on the treadmill and half on elliptical or is it okay that I do the elliptical every day? I hate the treadmill!

Does the elliptical machine ask you to input your weight before you start your workout? If not, the calories burned figure is probably not accurate.
I would say switch up your workouts. Do you do strength training at all? Have you tried the Stairmaster? I'm not too crazy about the treadmill but it's not so bad if I bring a book and cover the timer!

you should switch up your workout only because you might plateau otherwise..
But you dont have to switch it up like 1/2 hour here, 1/2 hour there... I would one day do the epliptical, the next the treadmill or a bike... etc etc

I am not a 'trainer' - but when I was working with them they did tell me to switch it up a bit. Your body can get used to the machine and you need to kind of throw it off by doing alternative exercising. Same goes for the machine(s) change levels continually.

Thanks girls. I figured doing it everyday wouldnt be a good idea but I like to do what feels easiest lol. I do strength training. One day Ill do legs, the other arms but I always do abs. I hate working out on my own but a personal trainer is just not an option right now!!!
